Al Scholl retired from the computer industry in 1987 and since then has traveled thousands of miles in search if Indian rock art and ruins. Al grew up in Watertown, New York, near the Canadian border and has had a life-long interest in Native American culture from Canada to Mexico.

At first, he documented his travels with more than 10,000 photographic slides. Now, through this guide, Al shares with others the fun and excitement of discovering the wonders left behind by the earliest inhabitants of North America.

He hopes readers will visit at least a few of these sites, while enjoying beautiful country, great meals, and meeting new friends
